What's the Difference Between Post and Page in Blogger and Wordpress

Many new bloggers get confused by the term "Post" and "Page". So what's the difference between Post and Page in blogging system such as Blogger (Blogspot.com) and Wordpress?

Blogger and Wordpress both support "Post" and "Page",  and have the same concept for them. Here's the details:

Posts

Posts are published article entries listed in reverse chronological order on the blog home page / front page.

Some features of Post:

- The latest post always shows at the top of the previous one. (Exception: In Wordpress, if you have created any sticky posts, those will appear before the other posts including the latest post. )

- Posts serve of the main content for you blog. Some bloggers publish posts on a daily basis, some do at least one post per 2 to 3 days.

- Usually, the web address (URL) of a post includes the date (or year/month) the post was published, like this: http://www.bloggerjourney.com/2012/11/how-to-publish-post-into-different.html

- You can control how many posts are displayed at a time on front page (home page), in Blogger and Wordpress.

- Posts are displayed in the RSS feed of the blog.

- You can publish post into categories (in Wordpress) and add tags / labels for it in both Blogger and Wordpress.

Note: In Blogger (Blogspot.com), there's no Category available, but you can use Label (tag) as Category. Check my following post to see how:

Pages

Pages are static, that means you do not update them frequently. So for anything you rarely change, put them into pages.

For example:

- A page called "About"- introduction about you/your company
- A page for "Contact" - Let people know how to contact with you
- A page for "FAQ" - Answers for some common questions

Features for Page:

- Pages are not listed by date
- Pages remain the same from day to day
- Pages do not use tags or categories
- Pages don’t appear in RSS feeds

Limit

In Wordpress, there's no limit for how may pages you can publish.

In Blogger (Blogspot.com), you may have maximum 20 static pages. However, there's no limit for you to set up Forwarding Pages to forward the page name to labels, individual posts, and even other blogs/ websites. (What's the Forwarding Page? Check the following post:
